Interview with Sander van der Putten, Eurotempest
Eurotempest is a supplier of workstations, laptops, monitors, printers and other peripherals, among others. In particular, they supply products and services to qualified defence and government customers. We spoke to Sander van der Putten, who has been a buyer for Eurotempest for several years. He was asked about his prior expectations of us as a supplier and his experience so far with Driessen.
How did the cooperation between Eurotempest and Driessen start?
In April 2021, I was approached by Bauke via LinkedIn. He suggested we get acquainted and see if we could do something for each other. Initially, I parked this for a while, but not long after, I contacted Bauke anyway. At the time, we were in fact looking for a new supplier for our server racks. For us, this has been a part of our production for several years that did not want to get off the ground properly. Driessen was very helpful in developing the product. As a result, we got off to a flying start. After this, we also introduced Driessen to our other products, such as computer casings and laptop casings. The production of these proved no problem for Driessen either.
Which project or product has stuck with you the most?
The server racks. Driessen was very actively involved in thinking about how production could be used as efficiently and economically as possible. At the time, Bauke sat down with us several times to see how we could optimise this process.
Did you have any doubts before doing business with us?
Well actually, I didn’t really have any doubts about working with Driessen. The feeling I had and have with the company was immediately good. I do have to admit that I was somewhat sceptical when Bauke said: ‘If we give a delivery time we always meet it!’ I thought, ‘yes, yes I’ve heard that before’, but I must honestly admit Driessen is now known within Eurotempest as very punctual. Delivery times are always met and the numbers are always right too.

Ultimately, how has your experience with our services been?
We are very satisfied with the level of workmanship and overall quality of the products provided by Driessen. Our laptop and computer enclosures are on our customers’ desks. So the finish on these products is very important, because they are right on top of it. This shows that Driessen really spends time on finishing.
What has the cooperation yielded?
The structure and neatness with which Driessen produces provide us with a lot of clarity and peace of mind. When we place an order with Driessen, we know we can rely on the delivery time. We can then adjust our production accordingly. We also know that the quantities are correct. These two aspects create a lot of peace in our production planning. Besides the fact that we are very satisfied with the delivery times and agreements, our production staff also indicate that Driessen products are very easy to process in our production process because everything just fits.
Would you recommend us to another company?
I would definitely recommend Driessen to other companies. Because of the reliability and structure with which Driessen operates. Also because of the neatness, short lines and clear communication. If Driessen cannot promise something, it is always stated honestly. As a result, we as a company know where we stand and can anticipate. If I had to give Driessen a mark, I would give them a 9. I hope we can continue doing business with each other for a long time to come!
